Twitter, Twhirl, and Video Tips from Ed Dale

Seems like lately the entire world is all atwitter about Twitter...

If you're not familiar with Twitter (and who can actually keep up with all of these new web 2.0 sites and services popping up left and right), it's a social networking site that keeps people in your network (followers and people that you follow) up to date via short 140 character snips that you posts via the web, feed or sms. Very plugged in.

Twitter Twhirl

I guess I already had a Twitter account for some time but never really got into it. Well, things have changed.

A LOT.

Now, sure there's still lots of "feeding the cats... they're hungry!", but there's a difference. You'll find a TON of really cool, well-known and connected people using the service now. So guess what, it actually IS cool to see what everyone is up to at any given moment.

And with the deadly duo of Twitter and Twhirl, a super ginchy new desktop client for Twitter, this thing is a whole different beast than it was whenever it was that I signed up in the past.

Ed Dale has posted an AWESOME screencast video that will show you all his Ninja tricks using Twitter with Twhirl.
