Easy as can be.
Here’s the toolbar:

Use the start and stop locators to define your loop points in the song (so you can just listen to the part you’re punching in (with some pre and post roll to make it easy to fall in and get out).

Then click on Loop button:

Then hit the Auto Punch In button:

And then THIS:

Will turn to THIS:

Set your punch in and punch out points and hit record. It will punch itself in and out automatically.
QUICK TIP:
Hit the 1 key on your numeric keypad on the keyboard to return to the top of the song.
Hit the 3 key on your numeric keypad to engage Record. You can punch manually with the 3 key, I do.
Hit the “.†key on the keypad and the location point will be highlighted so you can manually type where you want to go.
