Are the AMS Neve 1073 Reissues REALLY the same?
Neve’s classic 1073 mic preamp and EQ is arguably the gold standard of mic pres. Recently, there’s been many 1073-like mic pre’s on the market. So I wanted to find out more about Neve’s own reissues of the classic. I mean, if you could even find one for sale you’d have to be concerned with the integrity of the components. And then logic would dictate that if someone were parting with it…why?
